Custom Internet Solutions Squashed Duck began as a simple idea and a really silly name. There were actual official things with Squashed Duck imprinted on them. We learned to answer the phone, while saying it, with a straight face. It unfailingly caused a certain amount of comment. While it lived, Squashed Duck had a great time but, like many small businesses, it died young. It was, nevertheless, quacking madly with its last breath. (which wasn't quite as undignified as that sounds...Well...OK, maybe it was.) However,      those of us who worked there can no longer look at any Duck in quite the same way. "If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands." IN MEMORIAM
